Taru

Taru was a cocktail bar in the center of Haarlem where Japanese and Scandinavian cultures met. Guests enjoyed carefully crafted cocktails and learned about the special spirits they served. The owners wanted the new style to reflect both cultures with a clean, contemporary visual identity.

Taru won the Entree Award for “Best cocktailbar of 2022”
The jury report stated: “The design of the menu connects seamlessly with the interior; minimalistic and simple. The menu presents the same calmness as the bar and its hosts. Typography, lay out, paper, everything is well thought out.”
